Etlingera elatior cv. Red Sceptre - Torch Ginger - Zingiberaceae
A very attractive new Torch Ginger of dark cherry-red color. Very glossy bracts are
arranged in a more upright position than those of the species which tend to curve downwards.
Usually marked with a contrasting white line along rim.
Leaves and stalks often have a reddish-maroon shading which adds to the beauty of this ginger.
Like the species growing 6' to 20' high if environment is ideal. Full sun.
